Housed in one of the most impressive Victorian buildings in Leeds, Thackray Museum of Medicine is truly unique and is the only museum of its kind in the North of England. Since opening in 1997, visitors have explored their medical past through innovative exhibitions and thousands of school children have been inspired though unique teaching of the history of medicine.

Through play, creativity, talks, experiences, social events and formal education, we’re both a place to pay fitting tribute to our health heroes and inspire the next generation of big thinkers.
