Southwell holiday cottage invites you to stay in their two-bedroomed, detached ‘Lavender cottage’.
Recently refurbished and dating from c.1798, the cottage has been lovingly restored into an immaculate, contemporary and modern accommodation. Situated a five minute stroll through open parkland from the beautiful market town of Southwell, ‘Lavender cottage’ is a unique relaxing base from which to explore local shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, and the breathtaking Minster.
Lavender cottage has been equipped with your comfort and ease in mind, including a modern kitchen, a cosy lounge with log burner, and charming courtyard. A generous supply of logs and kindling is provided.
Two bedrooms are on offer; a master bedroom with king sized Simba mattress, and a smaller twin room. Both rooms have luxurious interlined curtains and blackout blinds to ensure a good nights relaxation during your stay.
A modern white bathroom has been installed with a bath and overhead shower, shampoo/body wash in a refillable container, and locally sourced hand made soaps – to be kinder to the environment.
Lavender Cottage has recently been awarded ‘Gold’ status by Green Tourism UK for their commitment to the environment. It has also achieved the status of ‘Superhost’ on Airbnb.
Parking is available beyond the gates of Lavender cottage, either on the street or at the Leisure Centre a two minute walk away. There are numerous foot paths to explore and a lockable bike shed is also available if required.
