Embrace the arts in a visit to Patchings Art Centre…

Patchings opened in 1988 as a centre for the enjoyment of, and involvement in, art. Over the years the centre has continued to promote art, making participation as accessible and fulfilling as possible.

The centre is part of a 50 acre site which includes countryside walks, a lake area, and the ‘Monet’ bridge. Three galleries host monthly exhibitions by renouned artists. A gift shop, art materials, and a framing service accompany the facilities, along with a café serving home-made food and drinks.

New for 2021 is an Artists’ Trail of over 60 iconic paintings encased within glass, providing an all year round outdoor gallery and walk-through art history. Experience virtual encounters with five famous artists who talk about their work, pose for a photo with them, and visit their studios. You can also use the specially designed Patchings App to create a masterpiece of the landscape, and much more.

Patchings hosts two major events each year: A four day Art Festival, recognised nationally as a major art and craft event, as well as a popular three-day indoor Christmas Market.
