City Cruises York offers a unique way to see the city and provide an opportunity to relax and learn about the city’s 2000 years of history at the same time. Our daytime cruises include the York City Cruise, a fully guided sightseeing cruise through the city centre and beyond the outskirts of York. The cruise features a live commentary delivered by the Captain. There are regular sightseeing departures almost every day of the year.
We also operate lunch, afternoon tea, dinner cruises and early evening cruises. Our large sightseeing vessels all have an enclosed area and an open deck. They all have toilet facilities and a bar serving hot, soft and alcoholic beverages and snacks. Wheelchair access is available on two of our vessels; one of which also has an accessible toilet.
We also operate a fleet of Self-Drive Red Boats, perfect for a family outing exploring the river for up to one hour.
